Subject: "Linux" filesystem

I just grabbed the newest kernel (.99-7A) and was going to "upgrade"
from minix filesystems, to the announced Linux filesystem. ( The
old minix filesystem with 30 char filenames ) I removed the message
from Linus himself, ( announcing the Linux filesystem ), and now
I don't see mention of it in the config set up... Poking through
the kernel code I found the new magic number, but how do I configure
my kernel to support it?? Do I need a new mkfs??

Thanks
Dean
