You might want to install my mightily hacked smail 2.5 for 386BSD. It's run
on everything from Xenix-286 to Sparcs, and includes a channel router. It
works very nicely with deliver to give a very small, clean configuration.

It was on ref.tfs.com. If it's not on agate.berekely.edu (smail2.5.shar in
from_ref) send me email and I'll put it there.
