I am interested in finding out if any standard astronomical reduction
packages (e.g. IRAF) and/or their image displayers (e.g. SAOImage) have
been ported to Linux (a free *nix for 386/486 platforms), or whether anyone
has even tried to port some of it over, or has plans to.
If you are interested in such ports, or have even made some yourself,
let me know, and I'll compile a mailing list if I get enough replies, and
send out a report of what is potentially available.
