Are you sure it isn't because of the xiafs code having changed in 99p7 ?
I just tried the same thing about 10 minutes ago while I waited for the 99p7
source to finish downloading (i'm currently on 99p5 - didn't get around to
compiling p6) and the same thing happened, but then I realised that it wasn't
going to work because the xiafs code has changed - so when you use p7 and
(i think) do an xfsck or something, it'll fix the fs to what it ought to be...
(so we can't read them from < 99p7)
Am I making sense ? (be easy on me - it's 9:00am on a Sunday morning !)
