Subject: I'm going crazy! 99pl6 produces a lot of sgm. faults and core dumps!
Date: Tue, 16 Mar 1993 18:08:11 GMT

I'm trying to use GRASS on Linux. Beside of some problems with X, GRASS is runnig quite
good on Linux.

The compilation on earlier Version eg. 99pl2 worked fine ( roundabout 17meg source! ).

A try to compile on 99pl6 produced a lot of core dumps, segmentation faults!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hardware is the same as before!

As I see on comp.os.linux, there are some people with this problem. but I see no clear
solution of this problem. Shall I take the 4.3.2 libs, recompile bash or what?
