Subject: [KERNEL] Q: Increasing the number of processes, is it possible?

I would like to know how I can increment the number of simultaneous processes.
Currently the limit is around 45-50 processes, then fork fails.

I reached these limit when I tryed to compile two big programms
under X, which is not to much, I think.

P.S.: Linux is great, I have it on two computers and the disks are
mounted with NFS, so I can use all my hard disk space.
