Yes, I've got this error message, too. Kenneth Osterberg, who ported
Xview to Linux, gave me a hint (not a clean one, but it works):

if the linker complains about not having found a symbol, give to
him(!), e.g. include at the beginning of every Slingshot program
the line
        int __jump_libm_v4;

That works. The error is probably caused by the lib-updates in the last weeks,
Xview is already "older". Perhaps Kenneth will enjoy us with a new release in
the future.

BTW: Thanks to Kenneth for porting Xview; linux-community depends on people who
     use their free time to support other packages. I couldn't have done it myself.
