Hmm... I got the new getty_ps, and compiled it, only narrowly avoiding a major
blunder as I changed my /etc/inittab to use it. Luckily I did some testing,
and it worked (without respawning too fast, etc., i.e., spawns a login) when I
swapped the order of the "speed" and "port" arguments. Only now, everything
works better than before, but (quoting from memory) I get an "access permission
not available for this tty; job controj not available" message. Does this have
something to do with defaults not being set up right? My /etc/gettydefs works
just fine with the old getty. I know I'm missing something; maybe someone who
knows better than I could save me some headaches! ;-)
