Tonight I upgraded my system to Linux 0.99.7. I had a small problem that
I would like to mention. I used totally clean kernel sources and everything
works fine. When I add dosfs-10 to the kernel, the msdos filesystem no
longer works. Anyone else have this problem yet? I went back to the stock
dosfs-alpha 8 (built into the kernel).

Anyone have the QIC-02 tape drivers for the new kernel yet?

I also upgraded the system to getty_ps 2.06 tonight. That works great but
make sure you watch your getty configuration in /etc/inittab. Mine looked
like this:

c1:456:respawn:/bin/getty 9600 tty1

And for the new getty they need to look like this:

c1:456:respawn:/bin/getty tty1 9600 console

Assuming you keep your getty in /bin, and you use a terminal type of console.

Anyway, good luck in staying on the "bleeding edge"..
