Indeed, the sed with a fairly recent SLS was 1.09, while the most recent
on prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu is 1.13 (if I recall it exactly). What I
do know exactly is the old one doesn't work if you're compiling the
g++ library, but the new one does.
