Subject: Neato error: "respawning too fast"

        Do I get the error of the week award for this one? It's a very
creative one. I got it when logging out:

init[1]: Id "c4" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

        At which point the getty process for vt 4 completeley
disappeared from the process table. Five minutes later it magically
reappears. Fun.
