Subject: Linux/PC IRQ's

I recently installed Linux .99p6 on an 386/25. The system
has two serial ports, a 3C503 card and a MS Busmouse. All
these devices work ok under DOS, but the Mouse and 3C503
card conflict under Linux. When booting, I am told that

tty00 used IRQ 4
tty01 used IRQ 3
3C503 used IRQ 5

My mouse was also configured to use IRQ-5, which stopped the
ethernet card from working. Once the mouse was changed, the
ethernet card worked, but I am unable to use IRQ-2 (the only
remaining IRQ level by the mouse board) and have the mouse work
under X.

Any thoughts ? Please reply via e-mail.
