Subject: 2 newbie SLS Install questions -- Not in FAQ SLS.FAQ or README

Background:
Pulled SLS off of tsx-11.mit.edu a couple of days ago. This is
being installed on a Toshiba 4400C with a 120Meg harddrive and 20Meg memory.
The install of the base system went fine, and I am now faced with the following
questions:

1. At nice random times I appear to be logged out. Poof "core" is sitting
in the last working directory. Any ideas?

2. I now want to add the rest, or install from scratch to get "the full" system. I also intend to bring over projects I am currently working on for even more disk space. The max partition for linux is 64Meg but according to the SLS.FAQ:

Tiny base system: 15 Meg (Series 'a')
Main base system: 45 Meg (Series 'a', 'b' and 'c')
Main base system + X11: 70 Meg (Series 'a', 'b', 'c' and 'x')
Full system: 90 Meg (Series 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 's', 't' and 'x')

I must use extfs or partition the disk. If I partition it, then what is the "common" method. 64Meg for /usr and "foo" for root? Normal partition for root and extfs for /usr with as much as I want? root /usr and /usr/bin? ??????

Net wisdom would be much appreciated.
