Subject: shutdown

I've experienced some unconsistent behavior with 'shutdown'. I usually
do a "shutdown -rf now" to shut things down. Now, the funny thing is
that usually (~80%) of the time it works as expected. Occasionally, it
enters a wait cycle of about 1 min, instead of doing it "now". Anybody
seen this or know the reason? I tried to find the sources but I
grepped and wandered around tsx and didn't succeed. If someone let's
me know where the source are, I'll track down the problem.

Thanks; and thanks again to all those who made Linux possible!
