Hmmm. Not in my case. With pl6, TCP/IP was so unstable that I had to go back
to pl4. That said, however, I'm using 2 ethernet cards which certainly
didn't help things any... (A wd8013 and ne2000 compat. for those who are
interested)
With pl6, PC-NCSA telnet would hang after 5 mins. With pl4, it rarely hangs.
