Subject: Device Busy error?

Can someone tell me why I get a "Device or Resource busy" error when
trying to initialize Xwindows with a Logitech C9 BusMouse? In my
Xconfig I have the line "BusMouse "/dev/mouse"", where /dev/mouse
is a symlink to /dev/bmouselogitec. I've tried setting the config
to look at /dev/bmouselogitec, and have the same error. xdm refuses
to load saying it can't initialize core devices. Any help would be
GREATLY appreciated.
