Hi netters,
I have some questions on the Bernoulli package that is
advertised in the Computer Shopper by Insight/HD International
(see for example March issue p316). I want to use it
under Linux and OS/2. In fact I currently have an Adaptec
1542B and my first question is if it will work with it.
I am referring on the specific Insight/HD International
package again. In the ad they state "Made exclusively
for HD International" (that's why I'm worried).

Recently I saw in the comp.os.linux an announcement on
the successful incorporation of Bernoulli drives in the
devices supported. So that might be ok. In the OS/2 area
my impression has been that there are drivers lacking, but
I may be wrong. Also, if the 1542 won't directly support
it, might I run the controller that comes with it
along with the 1542 (as a second controller)?

To recap, I basically ask 4 questions (that is if you have
any experience);
a) Does this PARTICULAR bundle work with OS/2 ?
b) The same for Linux.
c) Can I mount it on an Adaptec 1542?
d) If not, can I run the Rancho controller along
   with the 1542?

                              Thanks,

                              Ioannis
