Yes post it. I don't need it anymore at the MOMENT but maybe others and
it would have been of great help if I had it BEFORE I tried to find out
what my keyboard does (I really changed keyboard.c to print out every
scan-code). Your ideas sound interesting, hopefully you get in
discussion with Linus 'bout it.

There is still another problem with my keyboard. I already posted it on
CompuServe in the IBMHW-Forum but nobody could help me. Maybe HERE is
some wizard who knows more (sorry this is in fact NOT Linux-related at
all):

My keyboard has a built-in trackball (it is called KeyCat II). This can
emulate a MS-Mouse OR a MouseSystems Mouse. In order to emulate a
MouseSystems (3 button) mouse I have to hold down the right mouse-button
while power up. I would like to change the mouse emulation by SW but
there is NO help in the manual. Does anybody know this keyboard and has
anybody a solution (I suspect it would be enough to have a program that
can "drop the power" to the keyboard for some time while I press the
right mouse button. But how can I do this ? Sounds really low level
programming)
