Subject: debugging ARP ?? HOW ?? and net-2 setup problem
Date: Wed, 30 Jun 1993 21:42:36 GMT

Hi there!

I am interested in debugging the arp-code of the new net-2 and I saw some
people mentioning the use of "kd /dev/arp" to dump arp-packets.
Simple question: Where do I get the "/dev/arp" from ?
Do I have to recompile kernel or does a simple mknod work (what major/minor ?) ?

Another thing:
I have configured the net-2 following the NET-2-FAQ posted recently. My host is
named clyde. Problem: ping clyde does not work. Any clues ?
