  Hi. I am a brand new player in the Linux field, with only a little
bit of Unix experience. I am trying to install MGR onto my Linux system,
and I cannot get it to compile. I have spent a lot of time hacking at this,
and it just does not seem to work. Can anyone out there with some experience
please give me some ideas about what to do? I would really appreciate it.
  This question, BTW, can not be answered too stupidly. :) I need to know
basic things, like what directory to un-tar it to, etc. Thanks very much.
