Be careful--make sure you have the scatter/gather bug fix. I was using
this driver sucessfully too, but it crapped out when I tried to copy
some large directories from one drive to another. It destroyed large
amounts of data on the partition I was reading from.
John's driver works great for me. I think there are some improvements
too, like multiple outstanding requests. This is way cool; I can "cp -a"
a large directory and the prompt comes right back at me. Then I hear
the drives whirring... truly offloaded parallel I/O processing.
