From: crosson@cam.nist.gov (Bob Crosson) Subject: Need Linux.0.99.10 network package Date: 29 Jun 1993 14:52:00 GMT
I recently retrieved the source for linux.0.99.10, compiled it, and
installed it, only to find my TCP/IP stuff no longer works because the
applications use the "old-style ioctl" calls. I was using linux.0.99.8,
I think, or whatever comes with SLS 1.01. Do I now need the NET-2 stuff
that I've been ignoring so far? If so, where is it (on tsx-11,
sunsite, etc.)? Also, I presume I still need the ipcdelta package to
get libipc.a (I got 0.99.10 because it has the ipc stuff in it already).
Anything else that might need up-grading for the new kernel? The X11
stuff still seems to work. Thanks in advance for any help.
