Subject: Linux DVI/PS support; is their?

Given the following, what is the best way to extract
and print emacs-manual-6.0.dvi.gz:
(and what of printing .ps files)

     1. access to unix download of file: Sun/VAX/NeXT
     2. available printers @ Sun/Vax/NeXT not desireable
     3. Toshiba 386/20; can install Linux in 43mb;
        ie; cannot easily install TEX or X11 or can I?
     4. a Canon Laser Printer at home;
        presently without any DVI/PS support
     5. limited free time 9pm-5am [get the picture]
     6. and a real desire to be able to print DVI/PS at home
