Subject: IRQ upon booting
From: stoughtn@ccmail.gsm.uci.edu (Neal Stoughton)

I've recently got linux up and running on my computer. Now, I'm trying to get
the network functions to work with a WD8003EB card. When linux boots, it
seems to sense the card as a WD8003E card and sets the IRQ to 5. However, my
card (software configurable under DOS) cannot be set to this interrupt; only
2, 3, 4, or 7. I currently have it set up as IRQ 4. Even though I changed my
Space.c file to reflect this IRQ, the system keeps trying to use IRQ5, which
won't work. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can fix this problem?
Thanks.
