Subject: Sounkit problems with pl10

[ Sorry if this is a FAQ, I'm short of spare time at work so it's hard to find
  time to read them. ]

I'm running Linux 0.99pl10 with soundkit installed. The kernel compiles fine,
but any attempt to record sound with cat /dev/audio > sample_file produces a 0
length file.

Playing back the sample file included with soundkit kind of works, but the
output is terrible.

I had this up and running on a previous PC and 0.96 kernel a while back, so I
don't know what's going on now. I've got a Sounblaster 2.0.

One thing : the kernel seems to think it's found a PAS sound card as well as
the Soundblaster. Any ideas ?

Thanks for any help,

Rob
