TCP/IP and Novell and most things will all coexist on ethernet as there is
a type field on every ethernet frame (actually one of two sorts of type
field thanks to the OSI lot).
We have two Linux boxes and a set of novell machines happily chatting
away here. An old good for nothing else AT sits in a corner running SOSS
and gives (SLOW) NFS->Novell gateway for the Linux boxes.
