Uuugh! :-( No, it was written by me. I was waiting for Jesus to show
some signs of progress, and when he did not, I went on to take a shot
at it.

My driver isn't of much use yet. As I said when I released it, I was
more interested in seeing how it behaved on other people's machines than
actually having it used as a tool. The next release is working more
toward the standard and should include error correction.

I've received a huge volume of requests from Linux folks who want to
port the driver. By all means, go for it. I'm not extremely Linux
literate (yet), but I'm more than happy to help out. (Just be patient
with me since between work and planning a wedding, my time is pretty
strapped. :-))
