That's not what the faq says. It says that the ATI drivers don't use any of
the acceleration features of the 8514/Ultra cards. This means that a local
bus ATI card (such as the Ultra Pro) won't be any faster than a generic SVGA
_local_bus_ card. They are still very much faster than ISA cards (by a
whole bunch).
