Linux will *NEVER* be ASPI compliant since this is a *DOS* software
standard.
The *ONLY* way your Adaptec 1522 will work under Linux will be if you
and/or others either get technical docs from Adaptec and write it yourself,
or hire someone to do it (this could be like Cygnus getting $X from Y
users when they did their Solaris port of GCC).
