I am currently in the process of upgrading our SLS bases system to
pl10 and the new net-2 code as well as x-free 1.3. What is the easist
way to do this, install SLS, upgrade the kernel and then net-2 and xfree.

I have reformatted the machines hard disk as this needed to be
repartitioned. Is there any new or pending version of the kernel/net code
or SLS as this would save a lot of hassle. Also is there due to be
any new releases of the FAQ's for the new pl10 and net2 code as well as
xfree 1.3. Could people send me details on there upgrade experiences and
is it really necessary to update (i presume to use the net2 code you
need to upgrade all the gnu stuff, the kernel and net code)
