Recently, one person in my epsilon nbd (Subrata Sarkar) got a
nice SLS setup with X and all toppings. Since that, there has
been a steady steam of others who have seen or heard about his
system who want to jump in too. These are often not people who
use the net much.
BTW how serious is the "term" project? It seems to broadly work
while crashing quite often. Is it under intense development? It's
very important for folks who have Unix at work.
IMHO the most important easily-fixed factor which will assist the
proliferation of systems like Linux is shrink wrapped installation.
How is 386bsd in this regard?
SLS is a great step forward, but it should be better. Certainly
the twiddling of Xconfig should be something the average installer
is not expected to do.
-ans.
