Subject: [HELP] Which Apps Takes /dev/cua0?
Date: 17 Jun 1993 17:59:24 GMT

Hi,

I have been fighting to get Kermit work on my Gateway DX2-66 for a long
time. Meantime, I have been receiving numerous helps on getting the
message "device busy" eliminated. Regretablly, none of them succeed.

The latest posting I read is talking about another application claiming
the use of /dev/cua0 before Kermit is started. That is exactly many
other netters suggest. My question is, is there any way to tell which
application or process use /dev/cua0

I have already commented out the "getty /dev/ttyS0" line in my /etc/inittab.

Thanks,

Cheng
