hi, I have a 1542c controller in my 486-33. I have a Syquest 44meg
for booting, and main binaries, and then a st41200n for Dos and
linux work area. I boot off of the removable for Dos and Linux. The
problem I have run into, is if I cp a large directory from the Syquest
to the st41200n it gets about halfway done, and then gets a drive
timeout error and hangs. I don't know if this is a adaptec problem or
linux or what. It works fine with dos, but hangs in linux. Any
help would be appreciated.
