From: haggerty@acf2.nyu.edu (haggerty) Subject: How about Corel SCSI support ? Date: 14 Jun 1993 23:00:55 GMT
I notice that the Linux doesn't seem to support the Corel SCSI
board. From what I've seen, the Corel board is a lot cheaper
than the Adaptec 1542. Since, as far as I know, the Colorado
Memory System Jumbo 120/250 are not supported, SCSI becomes
a _very_ attractive way to do backups. If anyone has made
a Corel SCSI work with their Linux box - I'd very much like
to hear about it. If no one has, I may try writting one, but I
don't have Linux installed yet (need to do a backup first) so it
may take a while. I hope my programming skills are up to the
task :-).
Please email me (or post) if you've managed to get Corel SCSI to
work with linux or would be interested in trying to write a driver.
