Has anyone successfully used the Tandy/Radio Shack CD drive with linux.

I heard that it may be a mitsumishi drive that has been relabeled and might
work with the mcd drive.

I have a chance to get one of these drives for $200, and just want to know if
anyone has gotten it to work with linux.
