In this regard, I think Sun/Solaris has a good idea with their WABI product
(allows Windows programs to run directly). I *think* OS/2 started this idea
or methodology with their ability to run DOS and Windows programs directly,
or have a "Windows" window manager (WIN-OS/2) running under OS/2.

Agreed...I think that UNIX is a good solution to the problems faced by many
business since there are versions running on a wide variety of hardware
from Cray level machines down to the lowly PC. The networking capability
leave DOS/Windows/OS2 in the dust...the only problem is the wealth of
applications in the DOS/Windows environment and the dearth of those same
type of applications in the PC-UNIX environment. DOSEMU and WABI seem
like a good way to go...
