Subject: Stupid SCSI tape question, plus CDROM
Date: Sun, 13 Jun 1993 07:59:46 GMT

A thousand apologies if this lies somewhere in the docs, but I am getting
dizzy from the infoglut and could use a boost.
I have both a CDROM and a SCSI tape on an 1542 board. Both are recognized,
the signon messages list the tape as being st0 or scsi0, and the CDROM as
sr0.
sr0 IS listed in the /dev's. st0 is nowhere to be found, so I cannot attempt
to access it. That's the TAPE problem.
mounting a scsi CDROM under sr0 appears to be quite possible, but how to
specify the format of a CDROM iso-9660 format disc ? Specifing it as
msdos does not work.

                                              Appreciations given in
                                              advance (no charge).
