Hello all!
I now have SLS 101 99pl9-1 up and running. THe following PARTs hda1 60meg ext2 hda2 60meg ext..(the root system) hda3 60meg ext2 hda4 26meg swap.
I installed XBBS on hda2 in usr/xbbs. The .config.bbs is in usr/xbbs/home where install put it. Don't work. It can't find it. I move it to /usr/xbbs where the execut is and all works from a telneted localhost from a virt term. The modem is on com 2, a ls -al on /dev/modem returns modem -> cua1.
Kermit works and minicom well it works but brokenly.
HOW do I get XBBS to go on line so a caller can call into
it. Do I need to set up some type of networking. I read
that pbbs had to have TCP/IP running. ??? I have a book
I am reading on TCP/IP..but can find nothing in the directories telling me about this. Also I want to get pcomm. It has
a .tgz extention...what is this?? How do I use??
Alternative adress is: baer@eggo.csee.usf.edu. Location
of any documentations also please.
Groetjes,
randy
