I posted about this a few days ago on comp.windows.x.i386unix but got
no replies. Please help.

I've switched to using xdm insetad of startx/xinit. However, all
xterms started from .xsession (and others started from these xterms)
come up with their stty settings garbled (interrupt character = ^?
instead of ^C, ..etc.). Those started from the window manager's menu
are ok.

This is regardless of the login shell, I tried tcsh, bash, sash -- all
the same. I also checked my ttys/ptys - no problem there, and I never
had/have the problem if I use startx/xinit.

Any idea what going wrong here? Please PLEASE help!

Thanks.
