I have had the same problm with my 486sx. Could you post what the old controller
was and what was it replaced with. By the way, Although linux, 386BSD, and
NetBSD all failed to boot on this system, MACH 2.6 booted up on the first try.
Maybe with all this information, we could figure out how to fix this problem with
a BIOS change.
