This is not a Linux problem! You would have noticed this on any operating
system you ran on the machine after you upgraded! (Except Possibly DOS)
You should have given that tech support person a good tongue lashing, then
done the same to his boss.
I have never heard one single good word about DTK motherboards, and I
avoid them like the plague. I see Radio Shack is selling them now, at
least they are in Canada.
