Just to reassure those of you who haven't received a response...
I ordered the first disk the latter part of March when it was first
announced. When it hadn't arrived in a few weeks, I sent another request.
True to form, the disk arrived the next day (no doubt in response to the
FIRST request). I was happy with the disk, and sent in the money in May.
Then about ten days ago I received another disk! I thought it was the
next installment (May/June), but it turned out to be another March/April.
A day or two later I received the same letter as Jim above, saying that I
owed them money. I checked with my bank, and sure enough, the check hasn't
cleared yet, even though it's been more than three weeks since it was sent.
They must be really snowed under if they don't have time to cash the checks
they have! I have tried the answering machine and email routes to clear up
the mess with the extra disk and missing check, but no luck.
BTW, for those of you who are muttering to yourselves, yes, I realize I'm
lucky to have received two disks, as opposed to none. And I'm sure there
are those who would be willing to take the extra one off my hands. :-)
