I have noticed the same problem with some of the packages I have compiled
from the net ( xfig tgif ) and with the binaries from sunsite. I am
using SLS102 ( 99pl9 XFREE 102 gcc 2.3.3 ).

My machine is a DELL 386 20 MHz with 8 meg of ram
