Hi,
I sucessfully installed 0.99pl8 ( I guess it's SLS 1.01) on my machine.
The distribution comes with Taylor-UUCP 1.04 but with UUCP-files in the
old hdb format (Dialers, Permissions. Devices, System). Of course, I prefer
the 'real' taylor style (dial, port, sys, ...), so I used 'uuconv' to
convert the hdb-files into taylor-files an created a new config.
1) I am able to check the configuration with 'uuchk -I <config-path>'.
This won't work if the -I option is missing. So what is the default path
for 'config' in the SLS distribution. Unfortunalty I haven't got the sources
but it seems to be not /usr/lib/uucp/config (where all the old hdb-style
files live).
2) 'uucico -I <config-path> -r1 -s <system>' does not work at all, no call out
no output and even no log file entry. Of course, it works with the hdb-files.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance & Bye, Tilman
