This is probably because of ports from Solaris 1.x to 2.x. All 2.x apps are
supposed to compile and run on the Intel and Sparc Solaris' without changes.
They probably just announced all Solaris 2.x ports/developement/planned ports
as Intel ports. I have seen Solaris running on Intel at the Solaris developers
conference and I never saw a crash, and I talked to some of the third party
people showing wares and they said it seemed pretty stable. But I like the
price of Linux a whole lot better, even if I can't get it to work with my
TMC-880.
