Since the total sample was only 138 and only asked about porting
to ODT (and not to SCO UNIX), your conclusion is only half-baked.

Here are some facts to consider:

1. SCO UNIX has sold 750,000 copies. ODT has only sold 100,000 (give or
take a little, since these are IDC numbers).

2. SCO UNIX is predominantly sold to run vertical applications. The
application vendors OST polled were split between 8 catagories, only
one of which was the vertical marketeers. And, OST only contacted
the "top" ISV's in each catagory; what "top" means and whether an
equal number of ISV's for each catagory were contacted is not mentioned.

Even if you agree with the conclusion more vendors are "planning"
to support a platform (vaporware research?), you also need to look at the
numbers that show that ODT still supports more applications than
any other UNIX-based GUI-based OS for the PC (how's _that_ for
qualifications? :-).
