I am using SLS 1.02. Has anyone noticed that free does not seem to reflect the
actual amount of meory being used. Here's an example. When i fist boot up
and log in, free reports that a little more than 2 megs are in use. I start
up X windows and free reports just under 8 megs in use. When i quit from X
and run free, it tells me that i am still using 8 megs of ram when i should
only be using 2 as before. Can anyone explain this?
