My, how paranoiac. I purchased a Tandberg 3600 drive from Dr. Jaskolski
and have been overwhelmingly satisfied by his help and service.
Not only did he take it upon himself to write detailed instructions
and hints on installing the drive, but also purchased SCSI terminators
and mailed them to me when I was unable to locate any locally.
And the drive was packaged better than most equipment I've bought
from companies and included postal insurance, to boot.

Yes, this is an unsolicited comment.

About a month ago I purchased a archive vp60 external tape drive from
Dr. John V. Jaskolski and had no difficulty. I paid in advance by check, and
He was very above board and honest in his dealings with me. I know 2 other
people who have or are dealing with Dr. Jaskolski and to my knowledge their
transaction has been treated above board and honestly.

I'll admit I was concerned about dealing with someone via email and
I do not recommend (nor do I believe does Dr. Jaskolski) that one should give
out ones credit card number over email. I have been informed that email is not
"private" but a public means of communication. This means that email messages
can be misdirected and thus read by others than the person intended.

It is wise to be careful in giving out ones credit card number (as with
all credit card transactions), one should not be overly eager to cast doubt
on someoness honesty and integrity without just cause.

You try to offer stuff at a good price for people to buy, and you get maligned
by some paranoid. "No good deed goes unpunished"...
