Subject: changing bash to "bash -noprofile"
From: eekim@husc8.harvard.edu (Eugene Kim)

Hi,

I'd like to change my default login shell bash so it does not
execute /etc/profile at login. How does one do this? I
tried editing /etc/shells and including the option -noprofile
next to the bash entry, but this did nothing. I also tried
the chsh command, again appending the -noprofile option but
this resulted in an error.

Any hints? I'm running SLS 1.01, Linux v0.99pl9.

Thanks.
