I had the same problem after trying to build the lx99pl11 with an older library.
It also happened, when I started xfree13 with older libraries; my dump was around
120 MB, with 0 bytes free. e2fsck didn't help only mk2efs :-> . Did you have the
problems with ntalk before ? I know that lots of people had this dump-problem (we
have a little competition in de.comp.os.linux about that ). Using the new 4.4.1
stuff helped for me.
